This Privacy Policy explains how Setvox ("Setvox", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and retains information when you use the Setvox mobile application (the "App"). Setvox is a voice-first workout log: you describe exercises and sets by speaking, and the App converts that speech into structured workout data for you to review and save.

Information we collect

• Account information. Information you provide to create and secure your account, such as your email address and authentication credentials.
• Voice recordings. Audio you record when you describe an exercise or set. This audio is sent to our backend to be transcribed.
• Transcripts and parsed workout data. The text transcript produced from your recording, and the structured exercise, set, repetition, weight, and unit data parsed from it.
• Workout history. Exercises, sets, and workouts you confirm and save, along with timestamps needed to build your training history and progress charts.
• Manual entries. Any workout data you type directly instead of, or in addition to, speaking.
• Diagnostic and usage data. Information such as processing outcome, latency, and correction activity, used to understand and improve transcription and parsing quality. This does not include the content of your recordings once processing is complete.

How we use your information

• To transcribe your voice recordings and parse them into structured workout sets.
• To let you review, correct, and confirm parsed data before it is saved.
• To store your confirmed workout history and generate progress charts.
• To maintain your account and keep your active workout in sync across app restarts.
• To diagnose transcription or parsing failures and improve accuracy over time.
• To secure the App and prevent abuse.

Third-party processing of voice data

Recordings and transcripts are processed by third-party cloud AI services under contract with Setvox in order to perform speech-to-text transcription and language parsing. These providers process the audio and transcript solely to return a result to Setvox and are not authorized to use your recordings for their own purposes. We select providers based on accuracy and reliability for English and Spanish gym terminology, and we may change providers as our evaluation continues.

Audio retention and deletion

Voice recordings are retained only for as long as needed to complete transcription and parsing. Once processing completes or fails, the audio is deleted. Raw audio is never stored in your workout history and is not retained for analytics.

Transcripts and parse metadata (the text and structured data derived from a recording) are retained separately from audio so we can support corrections, troubleshoot accuracy issues, and improve the parsing system. We retain this data only as long as necessary for those purposes or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Data we do not collect

• We do not access your device's microphone except while you are actively recording inside the App.
• We do not use continuous or background listening.
• We do not sell your personal information.

How we share information

We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With the third-party AI providers described above, solely to perform transcription and parsing.
• With service providers who host our infrastructure and database under confidentiality obligations.
• If required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Setvox or our users.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or a successor policy.

Your choices

• Manual entry. You can log workouts by typing instead of speaking at any time.
• Correction. You can edit any transcribed or parsed field before confirming a set.
• Account deletion. You can request deletion of your account and associated workout history by contacting us at the address below.

Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Setvox is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you reside, including where our infrastructure or third-party AI providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice within the App.
